The Beluga Education Kit is a hands-on learning box designed to help students, families, and educators explore the world of belugas and Arctic ecosystems. Created by Oceanic Impact, the kit brings ocean science to life through engaging activities that support learning across Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, Mathematics, Geography, and Language.

Developed using our team’s 30 years of combined teaching experience, the content is adapted from Oceanic Impact’s live workshops and reviewed for accuracy by our Founder and marine biologist, Lisa Chen. The kit is designed for learners in Grades 1–12 and includes tiered activities so educators can easily adapt lessons for different age groups without needing subject-matter expertise.

Inside the kit, learners meet Qila, a locally 3D-printed beluga made from PLA plastic, who accompanies them throughout the learning journey. The kit also includes a 34-page beluga learning booklet filled with diagrams, experiments, creative activities, and real-world conservation connections. Supporting materials encourage screen-free learning, creativity, and reflection.

Each kit is thoughtfully packaged in Milton, Ontario, with a focus on accessibility, sustainability, and meaningful learning. Proceeds from the Beluga Education Kit help support Oceanic Impact’s mission to provide accessible environmental education for young people and communities.

This product is currently available for local pickup and/or drop off in Milton, and selected locations in Georgetown, Burlington, Oakville, and Mississauga.
